Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This policy applies to both the My Kids Study mobile app and the mykidsstudy.com website.
Who we are
My Kids Study is a parent-owned school-life tracker app and website, operated from India. We build for trust, not for advertising.
What information we collect
- Account identifier: when you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we store only the account identifier returned by your login provider. We do not collect your provider password.
- Parent display name: a name you choose to enter so the co-parent can recognise you in the app.
- Kid details: nicknames and school details (class, board, subjects) that you choose to enter for each child.
- Photos and documents: photos and files you upload, such as report cards, fee receipts and certificates.
How we store it
Your data is stored with Supabase, a hosted database service. Every family's data is isolated using per-family row-level security, meaning no family can see another family's records. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What we do not do
- We do not show advertising in the app.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- We do not include third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
Sign-in providers
When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, those providers authenticate you directly. We receive only the account identifier needed to link your account. We never see or store your provider password.
Deleting your data
You can delete your family and all associated data at any time, inside the app (Family → Delete family) or by emailing us at support@mykidsstudy.com. Deletion is permanent and completes within 30 days. Everything — kids, records, photos, and the account link — is removed.
Children's privacy
My Kids Study is designed for parents to track their children's school life. The app is operated by the parent; children do not create accounts or use the app directly.
